July 11 - Watch Gil Bernabeu, Technical Director at GlobalPlatform, discuss the role of GlobalPlatform within the smart card industry.

April 11 - Watch Kevin Gillick, Executive Director of GlobalPlatform discuss the role of smart cards in Asia today.

At this year's NFC World Asia, Kevin took part in a press roundtable entitled 'Smart Consumers go for Smart Payments'. Alongside other industry leaders Kevin discusses payment trends in Asia today, the rise of NFC payment systems, the role of Asia in driving contactless payments, and addresses the question of whether consumers will continue to use multiple payment modes.
